JIWF Held Orientations for “Study of Japan Tech Education Program”
日印女子フォーラムでは先日、インドの教育機関に向けて「Study of Japan教育プログラム」のガイダンスを2回にわたり開催しました。
JIWF in collaboration with CODETOTS JAPAN held two orientations for “Study of Japan Education Program” to schools in India.
「Study of Japan教育プログラム」は、日本での就職を視野に入れているインド人ITエンジニアを対象に、日本語と日本文化の教育を行うプログラムです。「より多くのインド人ITエンジニアに、日本で働くことを選んでもらいたい」という想いから、取り組みを進めています。
The “Study of Japan Tech Education Program” provides education on Japanese language and Japanese culture to Indian IT engineers with a view to work in Japan.JIWF Japan takes this initiative for encouraging Indian IT engineers to choose to work in Japan.
日本では近年、急速なデジタル化に伴い、IT人材の不足が問題になっています。この問題を解決する鍵の1つが、インド人IT人材の積極採用です。
In Japan, rapid digitalization these days is making the lack of IT human resources a problem.One of the solutions to this problem is to promote employment of Indian IT engineers.
日本に比べ、インドではIT教育機関やエンジニアの数が圧倒的に多くなっています。
Compared to Japan, India has far more IT education institutions and engineers.
また、インドは人口が多く貧富の差が大きい国であるため、「貧困から抜け出すためには医者かITエンジニアになるしかない」と言われています。そのため、インドの学生や若いエンジニアは非常に向上心が強く優秀です。
Also, since India is a country with a large population and a wide economic gap, it is said that one must become either a doctor or an IT engineer to get out from poverty in India.
Because of such situation, Indian students and young engineers have strong aspirations and high skills.
このようなインド人IT人材のうち、より多くの方に日本で働くことを選んでいただき、日本のIT分野の労働力不足解消の一助を担っていただけることを期待しています。
JIWF hopes that more and more of such Indian people with IT skills will work in Japan and help solving Japan’s problem of labor shortage in the field of IT.
